My name is Sam van Lieshout and I’m from Den Bosch, the Netherlands. I have been on the gymnastics floor since I was four years old, and started acrobatic gymnastics when I was ten. From the beginning, I trained at a high level and learned a lot during those years.
I worked with many international coaches, and my favorite part was always getting a new choreography and working hard to perfect it. Years of hard work were rewarded when I won a silver medal at the World Championships in China.
I think this is where my passion for choreography really started. When I began coaching, I noticed I always focused the most on choreography. In 2017, the first team asked me to create a full routine, and I immediately knew this was something I loved doing.
Since then, I have made over 100 choreographies, from beginner to elite level. I love working with motivated and passionate athletes, meeting new people, and sharing our love for acro.

Next to creating choreographies, I also work as a creative at a marketing agency. I enjoy using my creativity in different ways, and I love that choreography allows me to stay active at the same time.
